Episode 5: Andrae Steed

Today our guest is Andrae Steed, a photographer and photojournalist, whose images can be seen in his book Instant Radicals.  In this episode we talked about Andrae’s evolution from photographing everyday life in Venice, California, to capturing compelling images on the frontlines of the Black Lives Matter protests.  It was wonderful to hear Andrae’s first-hand accounts of what’s actually happening at these protests.  This episode was recorded in early October, pre-election, and the debates were in full swing.  Like many of you, my emotions and frustrations were at an all time high.  This is probably the most politically incorrect episode we’ve done to date.  It is not our intention to divide or hurt anyone, but we needed to let off some steam.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support and feedback!  We appreciate every bit of it.
